Instructions
Before taking your final, there are a few precautions you must make before beginning:
-You are responsible for being your own timer and finishing the final within 100 minutes. I cannot guarantee that the Canvas timer will work on your browser. You must take responsibility for keeping track of your time during the exam period. Note your start time and then commit to finishing the exam within 100 minutes of when you start. Make sure that you have started the exam by 10 p.m. California time on Monday, May 21.
-Ensure that any Pop-up blocker is disabled or on the safe list.
-Ensure that there are no other windows in the background.
-Check that all other programs are turned off. That includes Instant Messengers and e-mail.
-Set aside enough time. Again, you should start your final well before 10 p.m. on May 21.
-Let anyone in your household know that you are taking an important test and that you need some time without disturbances to finish it.
-Repeat: Do not take the final exam on your smart phone!
-If you have any difficulty completing the final exam online you will need to take an in-person makeup after the summer session starts. I will not be able to reset your final if you have connection problems.
-You will be able to see the questions that you missed on the final exam after Monday, May 21.
